Willis S. “Pete” White Jr. Obituary
Pete White, former chairman and chief executive officer of American Electric Power, died July 4 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was 94.

White was chairman and CEO from 1976 to 1991. He led AEP during the move of the headquarters from New York City to Columbus and the successful transition of the Zimmer plant project from a nearly complete nuclear plant to coal-fired power.
