Hurricane Laura: Behind the Scenes of Storm Restoration
Thousands of line workers and support personnel fanned out across Northwest Louisiana, Central Louisiana and East Texas to assist SWEPCO in restoring power to customers following Hurricane Laura on Aug. 27. The storm hit SWEPCO’s service area with Category 2 winds and resulted in a two-week restoration process.
