Paul Pratt, Debra Miller and Jeff Thigpen of Southwestern Electric Power Company’s (SWEPCO’s) Energy Efficiency team recently installed 213 LED light bulbs in eight different houses belonging to senior citizens who are SWEPCO customers in northwest Louisiana.

“As we get older, there are more and more reasons why we shouldn’t be climbing into chairs or on ladders to do things like replace light bulbs,” said Thigpen, who is the consumer program coordinator for SWEPCO. “The bulbs should last about 15 years before needing to be replaced.”
