Brunch ‘n View event draws retirees to PSO general office

A group of Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) retirees visited the general office in Tulsa, Okla., recently to take a tour of the newly updated archives area and to view historic photos on display as part of the company’s recent Centennial celebration.
Around two dozen retirees attended the June 20 come-and-go event, which took place in the first floor atrium area, where display cases full of PSO memorabilia provide a look back into the company’s rich 100-year history. Many of the items on display were provided by retirees and much of the work to update the display involved their assistance.
The event also featured a light brunch and provided attendees an opportunity to sign the centennial banner affixed to the east wall of the archives area.
The special historic photo display is now on temporary loan to the Tulsa Historical Society as it prepares a “pop-up” exhibit about PSO’s Centennial. That exhibit is expected to start in early August.
