Retiree’s sharp mind recalls company of years past
In about a month, Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) will celebrate its centennial, a milestone that marks 100 years of providing service to Oklahomans.
One winter day a few months ago, Inside PSO sat down with 96-year-old Albert Servin, a retired lineman who lives in Bartlesville, Okla. He started working at PSO in the mid-1940s and, as a retiree, still comes into the office regularly to visit with employees. He retired in the late 1970s and today spends time in a workshop in his garage and volunteering in the community. The secret to his longevity? Never, never sit down.
We’re sharing his thoughts as the celebration of our past grows near. View the video.
Great story with inspirational message….never, never sit down!
