Appalachian Power to host golf scramble event
Appalachian Power Company will host its 6th Annual Golf Scramble Sept. 30 at the Brier Patch Golf Links.
Who: Employees and Retired Employees
What: Come join us for golf, food and fun at Brier Patch Golf Links. The cost is $35 per person and includes golf cart, greens fees, lunch and prizes. It will be a four-man scramble with a blind draw for teams.
When: Friday, September 30, 2011
(11:30 a.m. Lunch)(12:30 p.m. Tee Off)
Where: Brier Patch Golf Links, Beckley, W.Va. Take the Harper Road exit off I-64/77 in Beckley, turn west on Route 3, then bear left at Mt. Tabor Road. (Course phone 304-253-4653)
Prizes: Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. Prizes will be awarded for other categories.
