Dollars for doers grant applications should be submitted now!
AEP Connects volunteer grant applications should be submitted by Aug. 31 or soon thereafter in order to provide $150 “dollars for doers” grants to the school or non-profit organization where employees contribute significant volunteer hours.
Grants are paid on behalf of active or retired employees who accumulate 40 volunteer hours or more on their own time in a recent 12-month period. Volunteer hours contributed by family members also apply.
You may print an application or call the Human Resources Service Center at 1-888-237-2363 (audinet 8-305-2363) to have one mailed to you. Applications include instructions for returning the form to Corporate Communications Community Relations at 1 Riverside Plaza.
Grants must be paid to a school or organization that is non-profit and qualified to receive tax-deductible contributions. Grants may be paid directly to local affiliates of qualified national organizations such as scouts, Little League or 4-H, providing the name of the local district, council, league or troop is listed on the application.
