by on October 1, 2010

TECH CORPS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring all K-12 students have equal access to the technology programs, skills and resources necessary to enrich their education. TECH CORPS recruits, trains and supports tech-savvy volunteers who implement hands-on, interactive technology activities designed to educate, excite and empower students.

TECH CORPS is currently recruiting active and retired professionals to implement “TECHie Club,” an exciting after-school program developed by TECH CORPS with support from the American Electric Power Foundation. TECHie Club is designed to introduce central Ohio elementary students to technology and all its possibilities. Tech-savvy volunteers use the TECHie Club activities to introduce students to the fundamentals of Computer Programming, Robotics, Web Development, Digital Media and more.

If you have a passion for technology and have time to dedicate to working with children, please contact TECH CORPS’ Lisa Chambers, 614-583-9211, lisa@techcorpsohio.org
